English Hunter Academy ("we") runs englishhunteracademy.com. This page explains what we collect when you use the site, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and profile picture from Google when you choose "Continue with Google", or the details an admin enters when adding you.
Level test details: the name, WhatsApp number, age range, job and "how did you hear about us" answer you give, plus your recording, its transcript and your result.
Learning activity: your course progress, quiz answers, scores, voice recordings and written assignments.
Technical data needed to run the site, such as sign-in cookies and server logs (IP address, browser, time of the visit).

Why we use it

To give you your account, courses and progress.
To score your pronunciation and give feedback on your speaking and writing.
To contact you on WhatsApp about your level test result or a course, when you gave us your number for that.
To keep the site safe and working.

We do not sell your data and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Services that process your data for us

Google Cloud: hosts the site, the database and your files (in Europe).
Google sign-in: only when you choose "Continue with Google".
Microsoft Azure Speech: scores the pronunciation in your recordings.
OpenAI: turns recordings into text and gives feedback on speaking and writing.
YouTube: shows some lesson videos (in privacy-enhanced mode).

These services only receive what they need to do their part.

Who can see it

Our teachers and admins can see your account, progress and work so they can teach you. Your name and score may appear on the class leaderboard.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as we need it to teach you. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and recordings. Write to info@englishhunteracademy.com.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
